About the team:
RFC Tallinn Kalev is an amateur Rugby Football Club based in Tallinn. Established in 2006 as RFC
Tallinn Sharks, it is the oldest rugby club in Estonia. In 2013 the club joined the largest sporting
organization in Estonia – Kalev, and has played under the name RFC Tallinn Kalev ever since.
The club has won several Estonian championship titles both in 15s and 7s. In late 2016 RFC Tallinn
Kalev became the first foreign club to be accepted to the Finnish Rugby Federation and competes in Finnish league from the 2017 season onward’s. Kalev RFC won 1st division in 2017 and has been playing in Championship league since then. In addition, the club regularly takes part of various local
and international tournaments.
RFC Tallinn Kalev also works to get young people involved in rugby by giving classes in schools and
youth events. The club has training sessions all year round (indoors in the winter and outdoors in the
spring-summer- autumn period), and new players are more than welcome to join – all training’s are
