The past 2 years have built up to one of the closest ENC leagues ever – as in many sports, it’s the fine margins that have counted. Narrow losses have left us bottom of the table but still only 2 games away from potential promotion.

Today we play the first of those games. Top of the table Luxembourg will look to end their campaign by securing automatic promotion and continuing a trend of recent victories against Finland. After a 52-8 win in Greece, there mood will be deservedly high.

But today is a new day, a new game and a new chance for Finland to step up.

We have the ability, we have the experience and we have the desire to beat any team we play against. I believe in this team, the players believe in themselves and today we must make those strengths count.

I know our home support is behind us and today is the day that Luxembourg will truly hear the lions roar !
